Tonight Catholic University, my alma mater, crowned not one but two champions. Both the men's and women's basketball teams won the conference championships and a trip to the NCAA tournaments. Normally I wouldn't post this here (even with the amazing, buzzing beating victory by the men!), but the president of the university is a former Dedhamite.
Before the game, a current student tweeted a photo of himself with President Garvey, and a fathead the student had printed up. Surely nothing inspires fear in the hearts of your opponents like a #JohnGarvey fathead. If you knew him or his wife Jean when they lived here, I thought you might like to see it as well.
