I am so pissed off at what is taking place at the Riverdale school that I don't even know where to begin. Should I start with the huge bullying problem going on in the first grade, that has not been dealt with. Or the fact that Mrs. Lucas, (even though she does have a Phd. she is still not a Dr.. Dr's see patients and write perscriptions for medication, she doesn't.) has addressed that issue by telling the first graders that they can't play tag for two weeks, and that the boys and girls can't play together. Or how about that all the anti-bullying material has been taken down in the school and the bully box removed. Or that there was an assembly for the school about bullying and that not all the classes were allowed to attend. Or that Mrs. Lucas' answer to questions she doesn't know the answer to is "I gotta check with the other school principals" and then never gets back to you. She has created an extreamley dangerous elementry school and somebody is going to be seriousley hurt. Both of my children have had assault and batteries committed against them in the last seven days. One was punched in the head and the other was stabbed in the shoulder with an unsharpened. It may be time to explore legal action against Mrs. Lucas and the Dedham School system. This has become a very unsafe enviorment for all. If I'm ranting I apologize because I am so mad right now. I can go on and on with other incidents but whats the point. It appears that nobody cares because as it has already been demonstrated in other instances if you contact June Doe she passes the buck back to Mrs Lucas because she wants to keep it at a "building level". I sure can tell you one thing this principal definetly is not your pal!!!
